Climate change denier argumentation bingo

Here's a list of argumentation techniques that most, if not all, climate change deniers are using when trying to defend their claims. If you hit them all, you're dealing with a true denier. :)
  • Posting YouTube movies or personal blogs - For some reason they are often claiming these are as strong evidence as actual published science
  • Changing the subject - This is usually done when they run out of arguments
  • Posting looong texts with no clear train of thought - This is also common when they feel that they have their back against the wall and don't have any good answers
  • Asking for my personal credentials in the climate field - This is one of the silliest ones. I haven't published any science myself. I'm just referring to published science. Besides, neither do they.
  • Name calling - Attacking the person debating with them rather than their arguments
  • Conspiracy theories - This is very common when they realize that their YouTube "evidence" is not worth as much as the 90-99 percent consensus in the actual published science in the field of climate change
  • Cherry picking - They will zoom in weirdly on a temperature graph or pick particular figures that "prove" their point
